The Islanders Amateur Radio Group at Hilton Head Island installed a new D-STAR repeater on the Island this week. Congratulations to Eddie King, N4HEK, the repeater trustee and the team in Hilton Head/Bluffton. Also, a special thanks to Rick, N1RCW, for his Allstar expertise.
The D-STAR repeater is connected to our URF517A Reflector giving us wider D-STAR RF coverage and more fun!
The fulltime Allstar node is now 50076 and for Echolink N4HEK-R. A connection to the Bluffton 440 machine will be made for Nets.
